Proverbs 11:25 - "The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed."

Proverbs 14:21 - "It is a sin to belittle one's neighbor; blessed are those who help the poor."

Proverbs 19:17 - "If you help the poor, you are lending to the Lord— and he will repay you!"

Proverbs 22:9 - "Blessed are those who are generous, because they feed the poor."

Matthew 5:42 - "Give to those who ask, and don't turn away from those who want to borrow."

Matthew 6:3-4 - "But when you give to someone in need, don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. Give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you."

Act 20:35 - "And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"

Romans 12:13 - "When God's people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality."

2 Corinthians 9:7 - "You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don't give reluctantly or in response to pressure. 'For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.'"

2 Corinthians 9:11 - "Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God."

1 Timothy 6:18-19 - "Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others. By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may experience true life."

Hebrews 13:16 - "And don't forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God."

James 2:15-16 - "Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, 'Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well'—but then you don't give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do?"

1 John 3:17 - "If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God's love be in that person?"

DEBT

Proverbs 22:7 - "Just as the rich rule the poor, so the borrower is servant to the lender."

Romans 13:8 - "Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law."

Psalm 37:21 - "The wicked borrow and never repay, but the godly are generous givers."

Proverbs 22:26-27 - "Don’t agree to guarantee another person’s debt or put up security for someone else. If you can’t pay it, even your bed will be snatched from under you."

CONTENTMENT

Philippians 4:11-13 - "Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength."

1 Timothy 6:6-8 - "Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth. After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it. So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content."

Hebrews 13:5 - "Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, 'I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.'"

Proverbs 19:23 - "Fear of the Lord leads to life, bringing security and protection from harm."

Ecclesiastes 5:10 - "Those who love money will never have enough. How meaningless to think that wealth brings true happiness!"

Matthew 6:25-26 - "That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Luke 14:28: "But don’t begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it?"
